I am a Mississauga based Canadian lawyer practicing from our Mississauga office, near Toronto, in the Province of Ontario. My main client base is in the Greater Toronto area. I practice Family Law, Canadian Immigration Law, and Estate Law together with my legal team. I also do Notary Public work.

I came to Canada from Bangladesh in 2000 for undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto's downtown campus. I studied mathematics, economics and Middle East studies to graduate with B.A. Hons. (High Distinction). Then I obtained M.A. in Economics from the University of Waterloo. Following this, I worked in Crown Corporations and Waterloo/ McMaster University Economics Lecturer positions. In 2008, I became a Canadian Immigrant. I started studying law at Toronto's prestigious Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008, and graduated with Juris Doctor (J.D) degree in 2011. In the same year, I became a Canadian Citizen.

I am from a family of lawyers. My father was a lawyer, and two of my brothers are lawyers. Being a lawyer is both my profession and passion. (see our Law Firm History).

I was called to the Ontario Bar in June, 2012 by the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario's lawyer licensing body. In the same year, having a family back-ground in law, I founded Hannan Hannan Barristers (HHB). I remain thankful to my legal team, clients, God for the continued growth of HHB since then.

I have a solid training and experience in immigration law, family law, real estate law, estate law. I practice in these areas in the Toronto and Mississauga area of Ontario. I love my legal profession. I do both barrister's work, which is essentially court / tribunal work and solicitor's work, which is essentially transactional and non-judicial document drafting work..

As a family man, I enjoy spending my free time with my wife Afifa and my sons Tahmeed, Ibrahim and Ilyaas. I also spend time praying to Allah (Arabic for God), exercising and serving the community. I keep connection with my Economics background by teaching undergraduate economics courses whenever I get the opportunity.
